Human rights and multi-agency approaches were in focus when Michelle Mildwater and Matilde Skov Danstrøm in June participated in an OSCE-live simulation training course, Combating Human Trafficking along Migration Routes. The training course took place at the training facilities of CoESPU in Vincenza, Italy. In close collaboration with 200 important practitioners, that also take part in the battle against human trafficking they acquired new tools to investigate and prosecute trafficking in human beings as well as improving the process of identifying victims of human trafficking. During the simulation Michelle acted as the Director of an NGO and Matilde as the Deputy Director. They found the exercise unique, challenging and extremely educational and returned with an expanded international network and new knowledge that we can put to use in the work we are doing at HopeNow.
