The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Office (OSCE) for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights launched the International Survivors of Trafficking Advisory Council (ISTAC), consisting of 21 persons who have been trafficked across the OSCE region. ISTAC should assist ODIHR’s work in combatting the trafficking of human beings.

Among the candidates was HopeNow’s cultural social worker from Kenya. She reached out to vulnerable people within the African diaspora, both men and women in Denmark.
